Notes from Ellie ~

Supper Club was born from a love of connection, culture, and community—inspired by my time living in Copenhagen, where I first experienced faellesspisning (communal eating).
In a city where I knew no one, these shared dinners became a way to meet people, bond over food, and create lasting memories.

I've been fortune to have traveled many places in the world where I’ve been welcomed into homes and kitchens, sharing meals that reflect tradition, history, and heart. I believe food is more than sustenance—it’s a story, a bridge between cultures, and a way to learn from one another.
I met Ziva in a place where I also pulled a lot of inspiration from; a friends' surf house in France where every meal was shared with a big group of people from around the world.
I was immediately drawn to Ziva's grace in the kitchen, her work ethic, strong values and love for everything around her. We reconnected in Byron, bonded over our shared love for food and people, and the seed was planted.

​Lucas came into the picture soon after; his creativity, skills in the kitchen, sillyness and eccentric character has been an absolute blessing.
At Supper Club, we celebrate organic, seasonal ingredients, rooted in regenerative agriculture and sustainability. Every menu is thoughtfully curated to nourish both people and the planet. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do—bringing together chefs, musicians, and artists to create a lovely dining experience.
My dream? To keep expanding this vision—introducing new flavors, perspectives, and unforgettable shared experiences, one Supper Club at a time.

Death Row Meal? Hmmm ok I'm going to pass on starters, I'm going straight for my Pa's Sunday roast. Think rack of lamb, mint chutney, roasted duck fat potatoes, green beans, shaved ham.
For desert I'm doing a chocolate fondant, with vanilla bean ice cream.

Ideal dinner party? Ok, so the band ABBA is there. Me and Agentha are singing and dancing together all night. I've got my best friends on the table, plus my family. My death row meal is on the menu, we're sitting on a long table on a farm, sun is setting, there is live music, wine on the table. Then ABBA get on the imaginary stage, sing "super trouper" i ascend into the sky.

Why supper club?
I find supper clubs to be one of the best ways to share what I love—cooking seasonal food for people, bringing them together, and creating a space for connection. It’s a chance to meet new people, build community and share.
Ideal dinner party?
It’s one of those perfect summer evenings—the sun is setting, and long Italian-style tables are set up on the grass, not too far from the house and the beach. After dinner, everyone heads down for a swim. There’s happiness and pure love in the air, like the magic of a perfect wedding. ( aka im a dreamer) . Live music plays as amazing people dance together. The table is filled with shared dishes, all served on big trays with a plum cheesecake to finish.
